My career path: It’s hard to fit it into a single category… and that’s precisely what makes me strong.
For nearly 15 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in microbusinesses, small and medium-sized enterprises, and larger organizations, in a variety of professional settings, with very different structures, work methods, and tools.
I’ve worked in several cities and countries, with a variety of partners and collaboraters, on projects that have allowed me to gain experience in administration, sales administration, import-export, logistics, and sales.
I’ve worked with numerous tools, software programs, and organizational structures. I’ve experienced both well-established procedures and companies where I’ve sometimes had to develop methods as I went along.
This diversity has taught me to adapt quickly and to understand the very different realities from one company to another.
So I operate on the principle that there isn’t just one right way to do things.
I start by understanding how you work.
Then I adapt.
The result: I’ve become what I call a
“five-legged sheep.”
I’m not an expert in any single subject—not because I can do everything,
but because I know how to adapt, research, coordinate, and find a way forward.
International trade is about more than just placing an order or arranging a shipment. It involves tracking documents, meeting deadlines, coordinating with all parties involved and anticipating the unexpected.
My experience has enabled me to develop a broad understanding of commercial, administrative and logistical operations: from order taking through to delivery tracking, including documentation procedures and liaising with customers, suppliers, carriers and freight forwarders.
I also know that behind every procedure there is a business, constraints and people who need reliable information to move forward.
Practical and organised. I like information to be clear, projects to be monitored and deadlines to be planned in advance.
Adaptable. Every company has its own methods and tools. I aim to fit into your organisation rather than impose my own ways on you.
Reliable and committed. I take the time to understand your needs, set priorities and keep you updated on the progress of projects.
Honest about my scope. I prioritise projects where I can genuinely add value. If a request falls outside my area of expertise, I prefer to make that clear.
International work has been a part of my career for many years. I lived in the United States for a year and have worked in English for almost my entire career, in B2B environments and with major clients.
Communicating with international contacts, managing projects in English, coordinating operations and handling professional interactions in a multicultural context are all part of my day-to-day work.
This experience enables me to understand the demands of international business, beyond just the language: deadlines, procedures, the accuracy of information and coordination between different stakeholders.
I work with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, as well as Canva.
I have also worked with many different ERP systems throughout my career; the most recent one is Infor M3.
Beyond the software itself, I focus above all on understanding your procedures, your organisation and the tools already in place to ensure consistent follow-up and facilitate communication.
With AI becoming part of our everyday lives, I believe personal connections matter more than ever.
You explain what you do to me:
If I can help, I’ll suggest a solution tailored to your situation.
If your requirement falls outside my remit, I’ll tell you so in a transparent manner and, where possible, refer you to someone better suited to help.
No one-size-fits-all approach.
No services forced upon you.
Just an honest discussion to see if we can work together.
